Educational Resources for Faculty
In any discipline or field, a key goal is to facilitate and support the learning of all students regardless of their differences. Classrooms, in particular, are sites of cultural terrains that promote student empowerment and self transformation. In an effort to mediate and strengthen our support for faculty, we developed a range of resources to support inclusive classroom practices.
The University actively and deliberately supports a culture of inclusion that impact our student experience and campus community. We recognize that one of the most critical spaces on campus is the classroom, and it maintains benefits that contribute to educational conditions which are essential in our relationships with each other. These conditions necessitate part of the mission of Inclusive Excellence to anchor a culture of inclusion and diversity in the classroom by building on existing resources, such as those in the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence to facilitate questions, rigorous dialogues and exchange, and (re)imagine possibilities in an ever-changing world; we attempt to make these resources transparent.
